FSSC 22000

FSSC 22000 (Food Safety System Certification 22000) is an internationally accredited food safety certification scheme. It offers a structured and reliable framework for managing food safety hazards, ensuring consistent compliance, and maintaining top-tier food safety standards across the global supply chain.

The certification is built on the foundation of key elements, including Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Points (HACCP), clearly defined implementation strategies, and essential prerequisite programs (PRPs). FSSC 22000 is fully recognized by the Global Food Safety Initiative (GFSI), which sets the global benchmark for food safety management systems.

Today’s environment is filled with intense scrutiny but being competitive means never standing still.

QCI Global helps you see a way forward so you can advance confidently.

Globally Accepted Standard

FSSC 22000 is a leading global certification scheme that is recognized by the Global Food Safety Initiative (GFSI). Being GFSI recognized means that FSSC 22000 meets the rigorous criteria and requirements set by GFSI for food safety management systems.

Simple Transition from ISO 22000

Businesses have the option to transition to FSSC 22000 from other Global Food Safety Initiative (GFSI) schemes. FSSC 22000 is designed to align with internationally recognized standards and requirements, including ISO 22000, and incorporates the principles of hazard analysis and critical control point (HACCP) as well as prerequisite programs (PRPs).

Continuous Improvement

FSSC 22000 is designed to leverage the management system approach outlined in ISO standards, specifically ISO 22000. By adopting FSSC 22000, businesses can cultivate continuous improvement in their food safety practices
